Stonehenge Avebury and Salisbury

This route offer the vistor incredible variety both in the sights highlighted below and throughout the beautiful countyside. You will see white horses carved in the chalk hillside and the seasonal crop circles.

There is nothing like it in the world. Discover how the sacred ten ton blue stones travelled 200 miles in 2,500 B.C.  Why is it there?  Who built it?  And for what reason?  All will be revealed with Classic Sights.

Avebury is one of the most striking archaelogical sites in Europe – a ceremonial circular enclosure surrounded by bank and ditch, constructed by Neolithic man.

With curiosity stimulated by the ancient monuments, we can reveal the secrets of Sacrum and Salisbury from beyond recorded time to the present day.

Take our regular day tour on the Magical Ring which starts in Bath and takes in well known sights such as Castle Combe, Avebury, Marlborough and surrounding scenic countryside.

Classic Sights will take through small country villages, usually shopping at a pub or inn for lunch and if, time allows, taking a cream tea at the end of the day.
